Water Framework Directive (WFD) Assessment

A survey of a river catchment or specific watercourse to collate and assess ecological data, such as aquatic invertebrate taxa, aquatic vegetative communities, water quality etc.

A report is produced based on the results of survey and an assessment of the impacts of a Proposed Development on a water course, including indicative management and targets for water quality.

River Corridor Habitat Survey

An assessment of the quality of a river or channel based on their physical structure, following best practice guidelines provided by the Environment Agency.
